The Monthly Short Story Contest

The 25th Short Story Contest 
Opening Date: 1st May
Closing Date: 31st May  (21:00pm GMT)
Winners Announced by the 12th June 2022
1 story permitted, each month
No corrections will be permitted so make sure your story is edited/proofread before submitting
Maximum word count 1500
​Best Story: £25.00 Amazon Voucher (Members)  + publication in the Secret Attic Booklet hardcopy + .pdf & published online
Non-Members - Publication in the Secret Attic Booklet hardcopy + .pdf
If you prefer your stories to not appear on the website you can Opt-Out of Online Publication by emailing Secret Attic
Selected stories will also be published in an issue of the Secret Attic Booklet  .pdf and hardcopy version
